From: "Chad Jenkins" To: Subject: Re: Service of Rule 5 on Hwy patrol Date: Thursday, March 17, 2005 11:20 AM I always serve the patrolman and the seargant, just to be careful. The seargant had actually asked me to do this at one point due to some of the officers not replying promptly. I'd just call the seargant and ask him what is the best way to serve his officers. Don't mention this case in particular, just generically, so that no one gets ticked off. ----- Original Message ----- From: Delton Powers To: scacdl@scbar.org Sent: Thursday, March 17, 2005 11:03 AM Subject: Service of Rule 5 on Hwy patrol Guys- Here's a new one for me. Served rule 5 by certified mail on trooper at Horry cty. troopers' office. Mail came back because "unclaimed". Dont want to start off burning too many bridges here in Horry by complaining to his seargent but think this is chickenshit. Any suggestions? Delton Delton W.
