The James H. “Chip” Price III Scholarship enabled me to attend a variety of South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers trainings while alleviating the cost of attendance. Each training was very practical, informative, and enjoyable.
As a new member of the South Carolina defense bar, learning about a variety of important legal topics from experienced defense attorneys across the state was an invaluable opportunity. I left each training with practical knowledge and new advocacy tools to utilize to my own cases. I also enjoyed meeting seasoned defenders across the state and making new connections in our criminal defense community.
The scholarship and trainings provided me with unique opportunities to learn and grow as a Pubic Defender. I am thankful to be a part of the special community the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers fosters.
